Lorraine Yip | Director

Lorraine redefines what it means to design with consciousness. An architect, designer and Master of Feng Shui, she weaves together spatial intelligence, elemental balance and environmental stewardship to craft spaces that elevate quality of life. With over 25 years of international experience, her work is grounded in the belief that architecture should be a living dialogue between people, place, and purpose, creating harmony not just within walls, but within lives.

Her career has taken her across multiple countries, where she has led high-performing teams and delivered award-winning projects throughout APAC, the Middle East, the United States and Europe. She has held senior leadership positions in globally recognised design firms, and now, through yipdeakin, Lorraine is focused on helping individuals and organisations design environments where people and place thrive in balance. Her work embodies a deep belief that true design excellence unites form, function, and flow.

Lorraine’s portfolio is both expansive and diverse, encompassing large-scale commercial developments, mixed-use precincts, high-end retail destinations, luxury resorts, multi-residential towers, institutional campuses and major transport infrastructure. She has contributed to complex, multi-stakeholder projects such as city-defining convention centres, public transport stations, flagship commercial towers and transformative public realm enhancements - from 1,000 sqm architectural projects to master plans exceeding 500,000 sqm. Her approach to design is characterised by cultural sensitivity, operational performance and environmental responsibility.

Her accolades include industry recognitions such as the Best-in-Class New Hotel Award, World’s Most Beautiful Emporiums, MUSE Design Award, Master Builders Award, and honours from the Australian Institute of Architects, UDIA and World Architecture Festival. Lorraine’s work continues to shape the built environment through a lens of meaningful impact, design innovation and care for people and place.
